From the late seventies, touch was played by teams representing various departments of the Queensland Public Service.
Also, the AUSTRALIAN POST-TEL INSTITUTE (API) ran a ladies touch competition. Thanks to Patti Lee, we have some newspaper clippings etc from that era. (The API is a long-standing social organisation for PMG, Telecom, Telstra employees).
