Brisbane Touch Football (BTF) is the official regional body of touch football in Brisbane and a member of Queensland Touch Football (QTF).

(BTF is not to be confused with BMTA)

From 1974 to 1984, the region was called South East Queensland Touch Football Association (SEQTFA) and then included Brisbane, Redcliffe, Ipswich and Toowoomba.

1985  The region was changed to Brisbane City Touch Association and included Brisbane and Redcliffe. Representative teams were selected from games between Brisbane Touch Association, Metropolitan Touch Association and Redcliffe Touch Association.

The first committee of Brisbane City Touch Association was:

198? to 199? University Touch Association was affiliated with Brisbane.

1986

The first State Championships attended by Brisbane City was in Maryborough in January 1986. Regions received competition points for their appearance and marching in the Opening Ceremony. On occasions, the champion region was decided on the points gained in the march past.

The colours of Brisbane City are Red, White and Blue. These three colours were representative of the colours of the three Brisbane City affiliates – Redcliffe (Red), Brisbane (Red and White) and Metropolitan (Blue).
