  • Glenn Duncan on Comments historyI have just found a copy of this photo in my father’s scrapbook. Dad, sitting in the middle is Robert (Bob) Duncan. He sadly passed away on the weekend aged 84. His Rugby league career saw him representing Australia in 1962, made 9 appearances for Queensland, winner of the 1963 Grand final with North Brisbane Devils, Grand finalist in 1964 and numerous Bulimba cup and Foley shield games representing Toowomba and Qld country. I’m so glad I visited your site today and stumbled upon this photo as we had no idea about the origins of his.

  • Admin on TerminologyJulie, I myself have never heard of the term as either a touch football term or a tactical move. Moves (see tactics page) are usually localised to a team, so that the opposition does not know what is occurring. The notes on moves (I am guessing your term is a move) on this site are from my knowledge only and are the very basic moves. There would be hundreds of other moves out there. Maybe someone else sees your question and can help.
  • Julie Pederick on TerminologyHi There, I can remember playing touch football in high school many years ago and thought of a term called a fluffy duck or a fuzzy duck, believing it is a term used in touch football. My P.E. teacher at the time was an Australian champion in Touch Football and there are something that’s sticking in my mind with that term, but can’t quite remember. I have tried looking on Google and in touch football terminology and history, but still cannot find the term fluffy duck or how to play a fluffy duck. Could you please explain the play…
